About Us

Nepal Majhi Upliftment Association

The Majhi community is one of the many ethnic groups in Nepal. They primarily reside collectively along riverbanks, characterized by simplicity, hard work, honesty, sociability, and straightforwardness. With their distinct language, customs, culture, and lifestyle, the Majhi community has a unique identity. Among the 60 ethnic groups listed by the Government of Nepal, the Majhi community is classified as highly marginalized.
